According to reports in the Daily Mail, West Ham United winger Robert Snodgrass is set to stay at the club after holding talks with manager Slaven Bilic.

The Scotland international only moved to the London Stadium during the January transfer window in a £10.2m deal from Hull City, but he has failed to impress Bilic and the fans with eight of his 15 appearances coming from the substitutes’ bench.

The 29-year-old had been subject of interest from newly-promoted Brighton and Hove Albion but he says that he will be staying with the Irons after the first six months of his career was blighted by an ankle injury.

West Ham supporters were quick to have their say on the news via social media, with many believing that it is a ‘big mistake’ to decide to keep Snodgrass while others feel the club should sell him.
