West Ham United have reportedly been handed a huge boost ahead of Saturday’s Premier League match against Swansea City.
According to The Mirror, Manuel Lanzini is expected to be named in the squad after recovering from a knee injury.
The Argentine has not featured for the Hammers since their 3-0 defeat to Newcastle United at the end of August.
It is believed that the playmaker will be named among the substitutes after returning to full training.
Lanzini’s return could prove to be crucial for West Ham, who are keen to get back to winning ways after losing 3-2 to Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium last weekend.
If the team get a result against Swansea, then it will ease pressure on Slaven Bilic’s shoulders, for the time being at least.
As expected, the fans were delighted to hear that Lanzini is on his way back.
The 24-year-old, who scored eight goals and produced two assists i the Premier League last season, became the Hammers’ main man after Dimitri Payet left in controversial circumstances in January.
