Southampton have not yet secured safety in the Premier League, but that has not stopped the transfer rumour mill from churning.

The coastal club are in danger of dropping into the Championship, but following last weekend’s 2-1 victory over Bournemouth, they are now one point from safety with three games left to play.

In their run-in, Mark Hughes’s side will take on Everton, Swansea City and champions Manchester City.

The fans are feeling confident that they can get a result against the Toffees this weekend, but at the moment, their focus has been turned to transfer speculation.

According to BBC Sport, Southampton are interested in signing Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic, who has one year left on his current contract at the Scottish club.

The Australian international has been part of the Glasgow-based outfit since his switch from Central Coast Mariners in January 2013.

Southampton have done business with Celtic before having clinched deals for Victor Wanyama, Fraser Forster and Virgil van Dijk over the years.

The fans do not know what to make of this latest rumour.
