Southampton will be looking to complete a historic double when they take on Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday night, with Ralph Hasenhuttl's side also needing three points to secure their Premier League status ahead of next season.

The Saints earned an impressive 1-0 win against Jurgen Klopp's men at St Mary's earlier in the season after an early goal from Danny Ings, but they won't be able to call on the England international at Anfield as he is currently out injured.

Unfortunately for Southampton, performances since that win have been woeful at times, with a torrid run of form seeing them slip down the Premier League table - only the consistently poor results of Fulham and West Brom have kept them out of a relegation fight this season.

Southampton were impressive in their 1-1 draw against Leicester City last time out, though, so they may be confident ahead of the trip to Anfield, which has lost its fortress status this season.

Here's how we think Hasenhuttl will line up on Saturday night, with five changes from the team which started against Leicester...

Ralph Hasenhuttl has already confirmed that Fraser Forster will replace Alex McCarthy in goal, so he is the first of five changes.

There's one change at the back as Mohammed Salisu replaces Jack Stephens at left-back after an impressive performance against the Foxes, whilst Jannik Vestergaard's rescinded red card means he can start alongside Jan Bednarek at centre-back.

There are two changes in midfield. Moussa Djenepo comes in for Takumi Minamino on the left-hand side, as the Japan international is ineligible against his parent club, whilst Ibrahima Diallo could add some more defensive security in place of Nathan Tella, who is dropped after missing some big chances in recent games.

Finally, Michael Obafemi replaces Nathan Redmond up front to partner Che Adams, and Hasenhuttl will be hoping that the Irish youngster's "unbelievable pace" can cause Liverpool some problems at Anfield.
