Loads of Sunderland fans have been reacting to the club’s new Netflix trailer, previewing the new series of Sunderland 'Til I Die before its release on Wednesday.

Manchester City’s All or Nothing series was sort of boring in a way, watching on as Pep Guardiola’s side cruised through the Premier League campaign, eclipsing 100 points and winning the Carabao Cup as a bonus. Now, what we all really want is to witness the ecstasy and heartbreak that goes along with a trip through the football league play-offs… right?

Well, not for some Sunderland fans it seems, as plenty have reacted negatively after the Black Cats shared a short teaser of what is to come on their official Twitter account.

The two-minute trailer features footage of the play-off final defeat to Charlton, Charlie Methven ranting at club staff about their failings and Stewart Donald saying: “This football club is gonna kill me”.

Needless to say, the clip has prompted quite a reaction from the footballing world, with plenty of rival supporters in the comment section either mocking the club or professing their excitement for the series.

When it comes to the Stadium of Light faithful themselves however, just have a look at the “misery” down below…
