Tottenham Hotspur have crashed out of the Champions League and midfielder Dele Alli has taken to Instagram to post his disappointment.

Jose Mourinho's side were well-beaten over two legs by Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig with the Germans posting an aggregate score of 4-0.

It means the north Londoners only have the Premier League to compete for, now, something that looks to be a task in itself as they currently sit seven points from the top four.

Alli revealed he was "gutted" as he posted the following message...

The 23-year-old has suffered a dip in form in recent weeks, but then again, who hasn't as Spurs have lost five of their last six in all competitions with Alli scoring just once in that run.

Fans have been on his back since the turn of the year, although that hasn't stopped him from thanking them for their support over in Germany as he claimed he is "forever grateful".
