Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, Graham Roberts has raised doubts over Nuno Espirito Santo's imminent move to Tottenham.

According to Sky Sports, the Portuguese's representatives are in London for talks with Fabricio Paratici about replacing Jose Mourinho in north London.

However, Roberts reckons there could be problems about the number of backroom staff members that Santo wants to bring with him.

The former Wolves boss has recently held talks with both Crystal Palace and Everton, although he couldn't agree a deal with either and remains a free agent.

However, it would appear third time lucky for the 47-year-old, who's on the verge of sorting out his differences and finally putting an end to Spurs' long wait to appoint their next manager.

But Roberts has questioned Santo's demands over bringing an entire team with him, suggesting that it's completely unnecessary with the likes of Ledley King and Ryan Mason already at the club.

He told Football FanCast:

"Reading between the lines, he wants to bring in about 200 of them [backroom staff] who want to come with him to get on the pay structure.

"But you've got Ledley King, Ryan Mason and other coaches at the stadium already.

"If a new coach comes in, Ryan will go back to his youth development squad, but you've got Ledley King and a few others, but Tottenham have them in place."
