Tottenham Hotspur just can't get rid of their injury troubles, and this week, it has got a whole lot worse.

Jose Mourinho will be without winger Steven Bergwijn for their trip to RB Leipzig this evening, which puts their chances of progressing in the competition at grave risk as well as the long-term goal of qualifying for next season's Champions League.

The Portuguese boss is already rueing the absence of goalscoring duo Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, and now he will be without another huge threat.

Spurs are currently enduring a run of five straight games in all competitions without a victory so this must come as a devastating blow.

This is evident in the reaction from the fanbase, here's what has been said...

The general reaction was split between joking sarcastically and genuinely being upset at the news with the club being blasted for being a "joke" as well as being labelled as "jinxed."

Some supporters pleaded that the bad news ended soon as it's only going to get worse until the side cannot field a team of senior stars.

Others were quick to slam key figures at the club, most notably the medical staff that has gotten them into this precarious situation and even chairman Daniel Levy, of course.

One supporter wanted the club to question those on the medical side of things while another went a step further to suggest they should be sacked as a result.

A further member of the Spurs faithful wanted the Wolves staff to take over the reins.

While many more believed it was time for the youth to step up to the plate, in particular Troy Parrott, who is yet to get a proper chance to lead the line in the aforementioned absence of Kane and Son.

Mauricio Pochettino's son even got a shout to try and save their season.
