There has been some concern about the future of Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris recently, as PSG are reportedly taking an interest in the French shot-stopper.

Mauricio Pochettino's appointment at the Ligue 1 side was always likely to increase the speculation about the 34-year-old, who has previously admitted that he won't finish his career with Tottenham Hotspur.

Daniel Levy and the rest of the Tottenham board were clearly keen to tie the French international down to a new deal with the North London club, considering his contract is set to expire at the end of next season but recent reports have suggested that he has rejected the club's opening offer for a new contract.

Fortunately for Jose Mourinho, it seems as if the Lilywhites are already planning for a Lloris replacement, with it reported earlier this month that they are interested in signing Dean Henderson from Manchester United.

The 23-year-old Englishman rose to fame after enjoying superb loan spells away from Old Trafford with Shrewsbury Town and Sheffield United, where he helped the Blades win promotion to the top-flight, before being a key part of their impressive 2019/20 campaign.

He is now challenging David de Gea for a first-team spot in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, which is testament to how much the club rates him.

However, he has still made just three appearances in the top-flight so far this season and he will no doubt want to be considered a first-choice goalkeeper in the near future, so if he can't achieve that with United, then perhaps he could be the ideal man to replace Lloris at Spurs.

During his time with Sheffield United, the 'keeper earned the praise of midfielder Sander Berge, who said:

“He’s insane. I’ve never been with such a good goalkeeper. One thing in matches, he is almost a defence alone at times, and you feel so secure with him.

“But people have to see him at training. It’s crazy. He saves balls from one yard. Sometimes I am completely speechless by how good he is. It’s like having two goalkeepers in goal with him. He’s awesome."

Therefore, if Levy could seal a swoop for the £18 million-rated Henderson in the near future, it seems as if he could be the perfect man to replace Lloris in Mourinho's side, especially as the Portuguese manager is reportedly a big fan of the goalkeeper and rates him as superior to De Gea.
