Journalist Samuel Luckhurst has claimed that Serge Aurier is the worst full-back that Jose Mourinho has had since Khalid Boulahrouz.Luckhurst, who is the chief Manchester United writer for The Manchester Evening News, tweeted the comment during Tottenham Hotspur's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.Spurs lost 3-0 on the night to exit the competition 4-0 on aggregate, and Aurier hardly covered himself in glory, notably losing the flight of the ball before the German side scored doubled their advantage.

Aurier has now made 33 appearances for Tottenham during the 2019/20 campaign and has not missed a Premier League match since Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino as head coach in December.

However, Luckhurst has claimed that the 60-time Ivory Coast international is the poorest full-back that the experienced manager has called upon since Boulahrouz, who was at Chelsea with the Portuguese during his first spell at Stamford Bridge.
