Tottenham Hotspur could be in for a very busy summer of activity, that's aside from the possibility that they'll complete their Premier League fixtures during this time following the delay of the European Championships for a year.

The ongoing pandemic sweeping the nation has put football on hold for at least a month while leagues across Europe are committed to finishing the season before the end of July.

During this downtime, Spurs have been linked to bits of transfer speculation with the latest coming in the form of an exit - and it's one that fans appear to be fully behind.

According to reports in Spain, via Sports Mole, Real Madrid are considering a move for centre-back Davinson Sanchez at the end of the season.

Here's how the fanbase has been reacting...

Clearly, going by some of the reaction above, members of the Spurs faithful would happily see the 23-year-old depart north London, which is potentially a brave call given their imminent options in the role.

Jan Vertonghen appears set to leave the club this summer as he's out of contract, so if Daniel Levy were to accept any bids for Sanchez, then Jose Mourinho would only be left with Toby Alderweireld, Japhet Tanganga and Juan Foyth.

There were a lot of choice words directed at the defender, including "donkey," "clown," and "liability" so evidently many supporters at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium are far from happy with the Colombian's performances this season.

He has featured 32 times in all competitions.

Although, his numbers per WhoScored for the campaign, have been quite encouraging as he is averaging 4 clearances and 1.8 tackles per game whilst also managing to win 2.5 aerial duels per match.

Only Tanganga outranks him for all three statistics this term.

There have even been a few bold suggestions that they should try and swap Sanchez for former star Gareth Bale or even Raphael Varane.
