Tottenham Hotspur fans have savaged the performance of Davinson Sanchez against Burnley on Saturday.

Spurs were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor, with Dele Alli’s penalty cancelling out Chris Wood’s opener.

Spurs began the game with five central defenders on the pitch – Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, and Eric Dier – but there was a nervousness pervading their back-line.

Indeed, Sanchez endured a difficult afternoon, as he failed to win a single tackle and was dribbled past twice. While he did make six clearances, the 23-year-old was erratic in his passing, notching a completion rate of just 69%, per WhoScored.

And supporters were far from impressed with what they saw.

Sanchez has been a key member of Spurs’ squad this season, making 31 appearances in all competitions.

Money talks: How much did Levy pay for each of these Spurs stars?

But some fans want him dropped for the upcoming encounters, as Spurs prepare to take on RB Leipzig in the Champions League and Manchester United in the Premier League.

The result leaves Jose Mourinho’s men eighth in the league, four points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, who play on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Spurs will be counting the cost of Mourinho's decisions!
