Tottenham fans finally got their wish - Troy Parrott.

The young teenage sensation came on as a substitute against Wolves on Sunday afternoon with Spurs chasing the game at 3-2.

Parrott was the last throw of the dice from manager Jose Mourinho in additional time but it wasn't enough as Raul Jimenez's 73rd-minute strike was the difference between the two teams.

Spurs had twice held the lead with Dele Alli utilised as a makeshift centre-forward in the absence of injured striking duo Harry Kane and Heung-min Son but it didn't pan out successfully.

Some supporters at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have been longing for the 18-year-old to feature ever since, so his appearance on Saturday is a step in the right direction.

It was Parrott's first appearance since their 5-0 win over Burnley at the start of December - a stretch running 85 days - and just his third senior outing for the club.

There has been encouragement over the possibility of seeing both Kane and Son back earlier than expected, which would bolster their chances of getting their quest for Champions League football back on track.

Spurs have an FA Cup fifth-round tie against Norwich City later this week before returning to league action and then facing a tough test in overcoming a one-goal deficit against RB Leipzig in Germany.

Who on earth is that?!?! Can you name all of these obscure January signings?

Until the duo is back fit and firing - which is still going to be some time away - there can be no harm in giving Parrott more of a runout.

And in other news, Spurs fans lay into ace who was an "ABSOLUTE GHOST" versus Wolves...
