According to The Daily Star, Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Marseille ace Maxime Lopez.
With football postponed for the time being, it’s been no surprise to see Premier League sides already start thinking about making plans for the upcoming summer transfer window.
And The Daily Star claim that Marseille have offered both Spurs and London rivals West Ham the opportunity to sign Lopez because he is entering the final year of his contract and talks over a potential new deal have stalled.

The report further claims that the midfielder is also on the radar of Spanish side Sevilla, and that he could be available for around £10m this summer.
The 22-year-old is as versatile as they come, playing in six different positions throughout his career. He has featured on both the left and right flanks, and even as a holding midfielder, central midfielder and in the number ten role.
The Frenchman has been widely hailed by many people for his abilities, with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane speaking glowingly of his international compatriot. He said: “He always had this outstanding natural talent at his age and for his stature. It’s amazing what he’s doing, not just at his age, because today age means nothing, but mostly because of the personality he has in the game. In other words, he’s someone who runs a lot, but is someone who plays a lot and makes others play as well.”

High praise indeed. And at £10m, that really won’t take too much out of the Spurs budget either, so it’s a move that certainly makes financial as well as footballing sense.
