Tottenham Hotspur are back in league action later this afternoon as they welcome one of their London rivals to N17.

After an opening day defeat to Everton, Spurs have since gone unbeaten in all competitions with some rather impressive results - thrashing Saints 5-2 before a 6-1 whitewash of Manchester United before the international break.

It gives Jose Mourinho plenty to think about going into this tie, will he stick or twist with his winning side?

Here's what we are predicting here today...

Hugo Lloris wasn't spotted in training during the back end of the week, but the French skipper will surely be in line to start against the Hammers.

Although he may be heralded by a different back four after Eric Dier missed England's defeat to Denmark through injury, this will surely mean that Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld are partnered in the middle.

Sergio Reguilon keeps his place whilst Matt Doherty replaces Serge Aurier on the right, even despite the Ivorian bagging against the Red Devils last time out.

In midfield, England's tormentor, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, will undoubtedly start but with the £31.5m-rated Giovani Lo Celso absent from training recently, Mourinho has a big call to make.

He could well keep Tanguy Ndombele in the mix while a well-rested Harry Winks may come in for Moussa Sissoko.

And then the Special One has to decide whether or not to start Gareth Bale for his second Spurs debut - will he or won't he?

The Welsh superstar has been training at Hotspur Way throughout the international break and has supposedly wowed staff members, so surely he garners a start from the off over the likes of Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela.

He'll partner Heung-min Son and Harry Kane in attack.

It means there is also no place for Gedson Fernandes, Steven Bergwijn or Carlos Vinicius, though the latter could well be used off the bench.

AND in other news, Spurs monster is finally filling the Mousa Dembele void...
