Tottenham Hotspur are facing several injury concerns ahead of this afternoon's north London derby, where Antonio Conte's side squares off with league leaders Arsenal in the Premier League.

What's the latest?

The Evening Standard's Dan Kilpatrick has revealed that versatile winger Dejan Kulusevski is a major doubt to face the Gunners after returning from international duty with a suspected muscle injury.

However, Conte remained coy about the problems he is facing ahead of kick-off.

"Honestly I don't want to speak about the injury because I don't want to give advantage to Arsenal, yeah? But for sure we have to face some problems, some physical problems and we have to know also that we have just started to play the first game in a run that we have to play 13 days in 43 days," he told reporters during his pre-game press conference (via football.london).

Big blow for Conte and co

Losing the 22-year-old dynamo, who only joined the club back in January, would be something of a gutting blow to the side as the Sweden international has been one of their most dangerous options in recent months.

Indeed, Kulusevski has scored six goals and laid on a further 11 assists from just 29 appearances in a Lilywhites shirt, via Transfermarkt, and this includes some important moments in big games - like this one - having bagged and assisted against eventual champions Manchester City last season.

Conte is clearly a big admirer of his too.

"We are talking about an important prospect. Probably he could explode in the future," he revealed to the press back in March.

"Also because I can see the intensity, the will and the desire to play. As everyday in training sessions, he is a type of player who has it in his mind the target to become a top player in his career and as his manager, I try to help him to improve and believe."

Also lauded as a "real talent" and a "real bargain" by ex-Spurs man Paul Robinson, it's evident that the Swedish sensation has already become an instant hit in N17 and whilst the manager has alternatives in Heung-min Son, who came off the bench to score a hat-trick last time out, and Richarlison, none have proven to be more consistent than Kulusevski in the Conte era thus far.

Therefore, his absence would be a big worry to Conte and the team.
