Having not played since their 3-0 win over Norwich City earlier this month, Tottenham Hotspur are currently set to take on Liverpool this Sunday in their next Premier League fixture.

In terms of which players Antonio Conte could select in his starting XI to take on the Reds, one man who should be in the team is Lucas Moura, who is currently earning £80k-per-week according to Salary Sport.

Moura could terrify Liverpool

Looking back to the Norwich game, Moura showed to Conte how useful he can be for the Lilywhites across the pitch.

In an attacking sense, as well as scoring a brilliant goal, he completed three key passes and three dribbles, making him a real nuisance for the Canaries on the day. Defensively, the Brazilian also did his bit for the team by winning seven out of his 10 duels as well as making one tackle, one clearance and two interceptions.

This display ultimately earned Moura, who has been labelled as a "team player" in the past by former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho, a respectable overall match rating of 7.9/10, making him one of Spurs' highest rated players on the day according to SofaScore.

The Evening Standard also picked up on the 29-year-old's impressive performance by saying that he was "full of clever touches and purposeful runs" as well as being "difficult for Norwich to contain."

Even though Tottenham's opponents on Sunday are miles ahead of Norwich in terms of quality, with Liverpool currently in second place in the league on 40 points as well as scoring more goals (48) in the top flight than anyone else, Moura has shown that he has what it takes in an attacking and defensive sense to potentially terrify the Reds this weekend.

Looking ahead to the match against Jurgen Klopp's side, by including Moura in his starting line-up, Conte could give Tottenham a good chance of securing a win even though they don't have the Reds' momentum given the number of games that Spurs have had postponed over the last couple of weeks. Hopefully the Brazilian can pick up from where he left off against Norwich last time out.
