Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a huge boost ahead of tonight's Premier League meeting with Arsenal.

What's the latest?

That's according to a claim made by Connor Humm, with the journalist revealing in a post on Twitter that, after Mikel Arteta revealed both Ben White and Bukayo Saka are doubts for Arsenal's trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, neither the centre-back nor the winger were seen in training at London Colney on Wednesday.

In his tweet, Humm said: "Benjamin White and Bukayo Saka both were NOT pictured in the latest set of training images for Arsenal."

Conte will be buzzing

With Tottenham's hopes of securing Champions League football next season very much hinging on whether or not they pick up all three points against Arsenal, the news that White and Saka look as if they will both be unavailable for selection this evening is exactly the sort of marginal gain that will leave Antonio Conte buzzing.

Indeed, with Saka having scored 11 goals, registered six assists and created eight big chances for his teammates over his 35 Premier League appearances this season - returns which have seen the 20-year-old rank as Arsenal's best performer in the top flight - the absence of the striker would certainly come as a huge boost to Tottenham.

Similarly, with White having helped the Gunners keep 13 clean sheets over his 31 Premier League outings this term, as well as the centre-back ranking as Arteta's joint tenth-best performer in the league, the 24-year-old being ruled out would also be a major plus for Spurs.

Indeed, it is undeniable that Arsenal are a much weaker proposition without the defender and forward in their starting XI, something which Conte and his side will undoubtedly look to take advantage of in tonight's season-defining north London derby.
