Tottenham Hotspur will take a short trip across the capital to take on West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday looking to build on their emphatic win over Wolfsberger in the Europa League.
Jose Mourinho’s squad rotation paid dividends against the Austrians, and no doubt the Portuguese will look to ring the changes once again when they face-off against West Ham,
Mourinho’s squad will know they will have a tough game on their hands against the high-flying Hammers, who currently find themselves in the race for the top four.
Here’s how Football FanCast think Mourinho’s side will line up this afternoon.
Mourinho is expected to make three changes to Thursday’s win over Wolfsberger as he looks to bring Harry Kane back into the fold.
Mourinho’s No.1 goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, mainly endured a quiet night against Wolfsberger and will most likely keep his spot in the starting XI at the London Stadium.
He will be hoping the Spurs defence in front of him comprising of the likes of Ben Davies, Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld and Matt Doherty are able to keep Jesse Lingard, Michail Antonio and co. quiet.
Maybe Davinson Sanchez could come back in over Dier, but we reckon Mourinho will stick with his trusted lieutenant, having made more appearances this season.
Elsewhere, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg also started on the bench against Wolfsberger, but we expect him to start instead of Moussa Sissoko alongside Tanguy Ndombele who also started against Manchester City.
This means Harry Winks also faces the chop.
Kane is expected to return after being left out of the squad to travel to Budapest for Thursday’s Europa League game and we expect him to start tomorrow. Heung-min Son is enjoying a prolific run of form and will likely keep his place in the side, which means Lucas Moura looks set to miss out.
Likewise, Gareth Bale’s performance may have also been good enough to see him keep his place, likewise with Dele Alli.
AND in other news, Spurs could sign Eric Dier’s defensive partner in Milan Skriniar…
