Tottenham Hotspur are back in action tomorrow evening when they begin their FA Cup quest with a third-round encounter against non-league minnows Marine.

We already know that Jose Mourinho will be taking a strong squad to face the side who competes in the eighth tier of English football having revealed so in his pre-match press conference earlier this week.

Only one player from the U18 squad will be travelling, whilst the likes of Jack Clarke and Harvey White are considered to be members of the senior squad.

It could finally be time to see the 19-year-old midfield sensation that's making waves in the youth set-up, after all, many fans have been clamouring to see him feature ahead of this fixture.

White has built up a solid reputation already at Hotspur Way as he's displayed ability in no fewer than five different positions despite being a central midfielder by trade (left-back, a centreback, and in the no.6, 8 and 10 role) as well as being a set-piece specialist.

In the Premier League 2 this season, the academy graduate has scored three goals and delivered seven assists, via Transfermarkt, so it's no surprise to see him among the names heading to Marine tomorrow. He's earned it.

Mourinho shouldn't make vast changes otherwise they could be at risk of an embarrassing cup upset - an infamous 'giant-killing' - but he should throw an opportunity to White.

The teenage starlet signed a three-year professional contract back in February 2020, which led to football.london's Alasdair Gold singing his praises. He tweeted:

"Really good to see Harvey White getting a three-year deal. Shows how much the club rate the teenager. Very versatile midfielder, very good tactically and takes a terrific set-piece. He's got a bright future ahead of him."

The Athletic have penned glowing pieces waxing lyrical over his ability too, Charlie Eccleshare wrote:

"He is the heartbeat of the team and has the sort of attitude that will stand him in good stead wherever he ends up," before adding: "White’s bravery and energy stand out. He throws himself into blocks and despite taking a few hefty tackles is always quickly back on his feet."

White could soon see his place in the pecking order elevate as it is thought that Benfica loanee Gedson Fernandes will return to his parent club after a not so successful stint in north London, according to Sky Sports' Lyall Thomas.

He has shown very little in the 13 matches we've seen him, all whilst the teenage beast continues to make headlines right under Mourinho's nose.

Promoting White should Gedson return to Portugal would be a sensible and financially-sound move to make this month.
