What's the latest?

Transfer Focus

In a recent post on Twitter, the Italian journalist revealed that Tottenham are well-informed on the situation of the centre-forward, as Fabio Paratici and the Everton transfer team have discussed the potential of a deal for Brazil international during the two clubs' negotiations for Harry Winks.

The transfer insider went on to state that the 25-year-old would be open to a move to Spurs this summer, while the journalist also suggested that the former England international could be included in any Spurs deal for Richarlison, with the Toffees reported to be demanding £50m in order to sanction the forward's sale.

In his tweet, Romano said: "Tottenham are still well informed on Richarlison - was discussed during talks for Harry Winks to Everton. Richarlison would be open to Spurs move. Winks talks going slow, as he could be included in Richarlison talks or separated deal."

Supporters will love Romano's update

With it being reported that the signing of a new striker who can also operate on the left is one of Antonio Conte's priority targets in the summer transfer window, in addition to Winks' time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium appearing well and truly up last season, Romano's latest update on the future of the two players is sure to be news that Spurs supporters will love.

Indeed, despite Everton's struggles in 2021/22, Richarlison still impressed over his 30 Premier League appearances, with the £60m-rated attacker scoring 10 goals, registering five assists and creating seven big chances for his team-mates, along with taking 2.4 shots, making one key pass and completing 1.3 dribbles per game.

These returns saw the versatile striker - who can also operate from attacking midfield or on either wing - average an impressive SofaScore match rating of 7.02, ranking him as Frank Lampard's best performer in the league last time out.

As such, should Paratici manage to save around £20m on a move for the Brazilian by including Winks - who started just eight Premier League matches under Conte's management last term - as a sweetener, it would undoubtedly represent yet another fantastic piece of business by the Italian sporting director.
