Tottenham Hotspur could be plotting a move to bring Stephane Singo to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the summer transfer window.

What's the talk?

That's according to Alasdair Gold, with the football.london journalist revealing in a recent Q&A that he would not be surprised if Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte target the Torino right wing-back in the off-season, as the 21-year-old ticks a lot of boxes for the Premier League side.

Speaking about Spurs' potential interest in the Ivory Coast international, Gold said: "I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs look at Stephane Singo, Torino's 21-year-old right wing-back, who ticks a lot of boxes for Spurs, Paratici and Conte. Paratici likes a loan with an option to buy deal and I think he'll be looking for plenty of those this summer."

Supporters will love Gold's claim

Considering the sheer amount of potential Singo quite clearly possesses, Gold's claim that Tottenham could be interested in a deal to bring the defender to north London this summer is sure to be news that Spurs supporters will love.

Indeed, over his 30 Serie A appearances this season, the £25m-rated wing-back has been in spectacular form for Torino, bagging three goals, registering four assists and creating four big chances for his teammates, as well as taking an average of 1.2 shots and making 0.8 key passes per game.

The £5.4k-per-week Ivorian has also impressed in metrics more typical of his defensive position, making an average of 0.6 interceptions, 1.7 tackles, 1.3 clearances, 24.1 passes, completing 1.1 dribbles and winning 5.9 duels - at a success rate of 58% - per fixture.

These returns have seen the 21-year-old average a highly impressive SofaScore match rating of 6.99, ranking him as Ivan Juric's sixth-best performer in the top flight of Italian football.

As such, with both Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal having been linked with moves away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season, it would very much appear as if Singo would make an excellent replacement for one of Conte's potentially outbound wing-backs - especially if he is available for a reported figure of just €20m (£17m).
