Everton face a huge challenge to keep hold of Romelu Lukaku this summer, with the Belgian attracting interest from a whole host of European giants, and The Sun suggests Ronald Koeman's side are targeting Palermo's Ilija Nestorovski.

The Macedonian striker is rated at around £17m, a fairly high sum, but the 26-year-old can be seen by the Toffees as a potential man to excel if Lukaku was to move on- as the statistics of the striker this season are fairly impressive.

Palermo, sat third-bottom of the Serie A, have seen their star-striker net nine goals this season and notch a further three assists- numbers you'd expect to be better if he were to be playing with a better side, like Everton.

Nestorovski's passing accuracy is fairly low, just 71%, but an average of 2.2 shots per game and 1.6 aerial dues won per game suggests he has the required ability to succeed in the Premier League if he was to move to Goodison Park.
