Arsenal are set to allow young striker Stephy Mavididi leave the club on-loan this window, ESPN have revealed.

What's the word?

Arsenal have a wealth of talent within their ranks and one of their most highly-rated assets, 18-year-old Stephy Mavididi, is set for the experience of potential first-team football away from North London on-loan.

The Gunners believe that the striker's next step should be a loan move elsewhere, before returning to Arsene Wenger's side next season to potentially push for a place in the first-team. Having netted 17 goals in 30 appearances for the U21's, he's definitely one to watch.

This season, Mavidid has featured for the U23's and has continued to impress, scoring eight goals in seventeen appearances. That all points to success, if he excels on-loan.

Where could he go?

Stephy Mavididi and Arsenal are set to have their pick of potential destinations, with a number of sides being on-alert. Clubs in the Championship and League One are keen to land his services, whilst there is also interest from abroad.

Whilst specific names aren't mentioned, Arsenal will decide what the best experience will be for Mavididi; taking things like league competitiveness, adaptability and potential playing time all into consideration before approving an exit.
