Chelsea star Eden Hazard has agreed to join Real Madrid this summer, reports Don Balon.

What's the word?

This is not the first time that Hazard has been linked to the Spanish giants, and it will not be the last.

The latest reports coming out of Spain - specifically Don Balon - is that the Belgian international has already decided to join Real in a deal that will result in Alvaro Morata going in the other direction.

The publication has claimed that Hazard will be offered similar wages to Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, while the number 10 shirt is his.

In addition, it is believed that Chelsea will only consider a bid in the region of £85m.

Can Chelsea afford to lose him?

Last season, Hazard struggled to make an impact, but in this campaign he has recreated the form that won him the PFA Player of the Year in 2015.

The playmaker has scored 14 goals in 30 Premier League games, and has been an influential figure this season.

Given that the rumours about a move to the Bernabeu continue to persist, it indicates that a genuine interest is there.

Chelsea have performed well as a unit this season, but last weekend's 2-0 defeat to Manchester United proved that problems occur when key players are out.

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was ruled out with an ankle injury, while Marcos Alonso was a late withdrawal due to illness, and as a result, the Blues struggled.

Losing a player of Hazard's calibre would be a huge blow to the club, particularly as it is difficult to find a suitable replacement.
