Everton are considering a summer swoop for Chelsea attacker Bertrand Traore, according to Calciomercato.

What's the word?

Traore is one of many young Chelsea players that are currently on loan elsewhere.

The 21-year-old joined Ajax at the start of the season on a temporary deal and has so far made 29 appearances in all competitions.

He has also scored six goals in the Eredivisie and two in the Europa League, as well as produced three assists in the European competition.

Calciomercato claim that Everton are considering a move, while Napoli are also keeping tabs on him.

Is Traore worth a bid from Everton?

More often than not, Chelsea's large group of loan players fail to make it into the first team due to the fierce competition.

Traore has already made 16 appearances for the Blues and has netted four goals for them, but it remains to be seen if he has a long-term future at Stamford Bridge.

If Everton do come calling, the Burkina Faso international should consider it, particularly as his versatility increases his chances of playing.

Traore tends to play on the right wing, but he can also perform up front in a central role.

The player has the ability to pick out a pass and has strength in that he is never easily muscled off the ball.
