Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will ask Real Madrid for Alvaro Morata and Raphael Varane if Eden Hazard gets lured to the Bernabeu, according to Don Balon.

What's the word?

Hazard has been linked to the Spanish giants for some time, and his revived form this season is likely to have attracted interest once again.

The Blues are believed to be keen to keep hold of the playmaker, but it seems that there is a plan in place if Hazard opts to join the La Liga club.

Don Balon reports that Conte will tell Madrid that if they want his midfielder, they will have to part with Morata and Varane.

The Chelsea boss is said to be an admirer of Morata's attacking talent, while Varane has been identified as a top target for the defence, which needs to be strengthened due to the impending departure of John Terry.

Other clubs have been linked to the Real pair, though, so it could prove tricky to get both.

Will Hazard really go this time?

There is no doubt that the Belgian has been a totally different player to the one that limped through last season.

Under Conte, the 26-year-old has scored 15 goals and registered five assists in 34 Premier League appearances.

Hazard has been a key figure in helping the Blues secure the title, which is his second in five years.

It is never usually understandable when a player chooses to leave a league-winning side, but Hazard may feel like it is time for him to add more trophies to his cabinet elsewhere.

Clubs like Real Madrid are constantly on the lookout for big names, but they will not wait around forever.

The question that Hazard will need to ask himself is whether he will get enough game time and if he has an opportunity to be the star of the show in an already A-list lineup.
