As reported by Yahoo Sports, both West Ham United and Celtic are interested in bringing Fenerbahce left-back to their clubs this January.

What's the story?

Both Celtic and West Ham are scouring the continent to find talent that can take them to the next level and it seems they've both cast eyes upon the same man.

Yahoo Sports say that Hasan Ali Kaldirim is attracting interest from both clubs. His contract is up in the summer and is reluctant to renew in Turkey, opening the door for clubs like West Ham and Celtic to pick him up on the cheap.

According to the outlet, both clubs have already made the left-back an offer as he decides where he wants to spend his future.

Quality option

A Turkish international with plenty of experience in both Germany and Turkey, Kaldirim is a player who could add quality to both West Ham and Celtic.

He's ready made to come in and compete for a starting position straight away having been a regular for the Turkish giants all season. He's made 24 appearances for the club this term, including every European match on their way to a Round of 32 spot in the UEFA Europa League.

Players of his quality don't come cheap often so to bag him would be quite a coup, especially for Celtic, who are always looking for players with European experience.

The Hoops already have Kieran Tierney and Emilio Izaguirre at the club but the 27 year old's arrival would like the spell the end of Izaguirre's career at Celtic Park.
