Sky Sports’ La Liga expert Guillem Balague has revealed Chelsea’s bold stance over the future of Stamford Bridge star Eden Hazard, writing in his column on their website.
Following a wonderful campaign for the Blues this season, the Belgian has returned to the elite of European football. Crucial to what looks like being a title-winning season, the 25-year-old has been touted as a potential target for Real Madrid.
With Los Blancos having previous in prizing the cream of the crop on these shores to the Spanish capital – such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale – the former Lille man has been linked as the next.
Still, Balague has revealed those in west London are not at all looking to sell him and, for them, that is reportedly the end of the story.
Well, probably not, should the Champions League holders properly formalise their interest. Still, the report also suggests a number of targets have taken precedence at the Santiago Bernabeu.
”These things do not tend to change week to week, but basically Chelsea do not want to sell Hazard and for them, that is the end of the story. Meanwhile, Real Madrid are looking at all the Galacticos, with Los Blancos mainly focusing on Kylian Mbappe, David de Gea, Robert Lewandowski and Paulo Dybala.”
The likes of David De Gea, Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappe are said to be of more importance to Los Merengues.
