As reported by Spanish outlet Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are amongst the teams interested in signing Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez this summer.

What's the story?

Former Barcelona star Sandro didn't quite make the grade at the Catalan giants, but having made the switch to Malaga he is in red hot form and he's attracting attention from the English Premier League.

Sport reckon that Spurs, Southampton and Stoke are all keen on the 21 year old who has scored six goals in his last six appearances in La Liga.

The outlet also reports that his release clause is a mere £5m, a bargain in today's market, especially in the Premier League.

What's more, Mauricio Pochettino is said to be a big admirer having chased his signature previously.

Are Spurs about to make their move on the bargain of the summer?

Good enough?

Still just 21 years old, Sandro is far from the finished product but has shown progress this season that he might be a top star of the future. Scoring 13 goals in La Liga for mid-table Malaga, he's been a key reason why they've avoided a relegation battle.

Formerly at Barcelona, the Spanish U21 international has received a good footballing education, featuring 32 times for the Nou Camp side, scoring 7  times.

While unlikely to oust Harry Kane at White Hart Lane, he could provide significant depth to their frontline, a player who knows what's it is like to feel the pressure of a big club and is able to consistently find the back of the net.

This is a reported move that could well make perfect sense for all parties.
