Juventus are looking to hand Liverpool a double-whammy of a blow in the transfer market this summer by landing Emre Can from the Reds and also beating Jurgen Klopp's side to Mahmoud Dahoud, TuttoMercatoWeb report.

What's the word?

Can is once again being linked with a summer switch to Italian giants Juventus (the Old Lady were aligned with him in January), with the serial Serie A champions looking to bolster their midfield ranks significantly after losing Paul Pogba, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal in recent years.

With the Turin outfit almost certain to be able to offer Champions League football, Liverpool may face a hard time keeping hold of their German international as they themselves battle to secure a top-four finish.

Whilst the possibility of losing Can will be a concern, the biggest issue may be Juventus' growing interest in a long-term target of Klopp's.

What about Dahoud?

Liverpool have been linked with Dahoud in recent the past and the young German is expected to move away from his current Bundesliga employers this summer, with Gladbach struggling to secure a top-four spot in the Bundesliga.

Whilst the Reds may hold hope of convincing Dahoud to move to the Premier League, TMW state Juventus have entered the running for his services.

Missing out on Dahoud would be a major blow for Liverpool, who have already endured enough disappointment to last a year in 2017, but the financial package Dahoud could get in the Premier League might prove to be decisive.
