Tottenham Hotspur trio Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker all want to leave the club this summer, reports The Sun.

What's the word?

All three players have featured in the transfer gossip pages over the last few weeks, particularly Walker.

Last month, The Telegraph claimed that the right-back - who was left out of the starting XI in key games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United - will consider his future at the end of the season.

Manchester City are believed to be keeping tabs on both Walker and Rose, while Dier is the subject of a rumoured £40m swoop from Manchester United.

The Sun claims that the England international has had his head turned by United, while Walker has been informed that he is allowed to leave.

Rose is in danger of missing the start of the new season after undergoing surgery, but the newspaper reports that he wants to move North, and both Manchester clubs would still be willing to cut a deal.

How bad could this be for Spurs?

This is the worst time for Tottenham to be losing key players. Mauricio Pochettino wants to take the next step after guiding the club to second - their highest ever Premier League finish.

Spurs are shaping into genuine title contenders, and with the new stadium on the horizon, the club could be set for some defining years.

Given that Pochettino has preferred Kieran Trippier to Walker, perhaps his departure would not be so heavily felt.

However, throw Rose and Dier into the mix, and things could start to look bleak for Spurs.

The report claims that the trio are concerned about playing next season's home games at Wembley while construction on their new stadium continues due to the poor form during their failed Champions League and Europa League campaigns.

In addition, the players are well aware that they would receive a huge bump in wages if they moved to either Manchester club.
