Roma are willing to listen to offers for long-time Chelsea target Radja Nainggolan, reports Calciomercato.

What's the word?

It is believed that the Italian outfit are feeling pressure to sell some of their big names due to Financial Fair Play rules.

Nainggolan could be one of those on the list, but Calciomercato reports that he will not come cheap.

The Italian publication claims that Roma will consider selling the midfielder if they receive bids in the region of €50m (£43.7m).

Around €30m (£26.2m) needs to be raised in order for the club to comply with FFP regulations, but Mohamed Salah could be the one to bring in the cash due to Liverpool's pursuit of him.

Even so, it seems as though Roma would be willing to part with Nainggolan, who has been part of the club since his 2014 move from Cagliari.

Should Chelsea make a move?

Blues manager Antonio Conte is believed to have been an admirer of Nainggolan for some time.

The midfielder, who will turn 30 at the end of next season, had another impressive season at Roma.

He scored 14 goals and created seven assists in 52 appearances in all competitions.

Not only can the Belgian contribute in an attacking sense, he is also able to drop deeper into a defensive role.

The midfielder has strength and ability to hold on to the ball, while he can also pick out a pass when in a more advanced position.

If Roma have opened the door to a sale, then Chelsea should consider making a move as they need much more strength in depth if they are to compete on all fronts this season.

Nainggolan also has experience in European competitions, so he could be a decent option for Conte in the Champions League.
