Harry Kane has rejected the chance to reunite with Andre Villas-Boas and earn a bumper pay day in China, The Evening Standard reports.

What's the word?

Harry Kane has pledged his allegiance to Tottenham Hotspur without even considering an offer from China, with the England striker straight-out refusing a move to the Far East before even learning what wages they will hand him.

Managed by former Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas, Shanghai SIPG are keen to sign Kane and his team-mate Danny Rose- but their pursuit of both is unlikely to be successful, with the duo opting to remain in the Premier League.

Even though the logistics of the move were not disclosed, it's likely Kane would have seen his current pay package dwarfed in China but it probably would have meant the end of his international career.

Is it the right choice?

Of course it is. Kane isn't anywhere near the end of his career and, to be brunt, he hasn't achieved much yet. Yet to win a trophy, the 23-year-old has all of his years ahead of him and it would be a massive waste if he was to move to the Far East.

The fact of the matter is that Kane was never going to consider a move to China but it's interesting to see that the striker was not even interested in what the numbers were, which truly shows his dedication to Tottenham Hotspur.

It doesn't necessarily mean he'll never leave Tottenham though, as an offer from a European giant may be considered.
