West Ham United could sell Robert Snodgrass just five months after signing him following interest from Brighton, reports football.london.

What's the word?

The Hammers recruited Snodgrass from Hull City in January for around £10m after he impressed in the first half of the season.

He headed to the London Stadium on the back of some decent form having scored seven goals and created three assists in 20 Premier League appearances for Hull.

However, Snodgrass failed to make an impact in East London, producing just two assists and failing to score a single goal in 15 outings, only eight of which were starts.

Football.london claims that Brighton, who recently achieved promotion to the top flight, are considering an £8m swoop for the winger.

What should West Ham do?

It would be hard to find many supporters that deem Snodgrass a transfer success.

The 29-year-old failed to impress manager Slaven Bilic, but he was only given one half of a season to showcase his ability.

From West Ham's point of view, it is important for them to bring players in rather than offload them.

Having said that, if the club have an opportunity to recruit a better option in Snodgrass's position then it may be worth using any funds from his sale to secure another player's signature.

The £8m figure being reported by football.london shows that West Ham will suffer a loss if they sell to Brighton, but it may just be something that they have to accept.
