West Brom were finally relegated to the Championship last weekend but they still have three matches to play in the Premier League, starting with a clash against Liverpool at the Hawthorns later today.

The Baggies' fate was confirmed following a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal last time out and now Sam Allardyce's future at the club is shrouded in mystery.

According to the Express & Star, the 66-year-old is expected to remain in the dugout, so he may well want to use these final matches to his advantage by keeping one eye on next season.

With that in mind, it will be interesting to see what sort of side he opts for.

Here's our predicted Albion XI along with the latest team and injury news...

There could be as many as four changes from last Sunday's defeat, though the formation is likely to remain much the same.

Dara O'Shea could be in line for a return in defence following another game that saw the Baggies leak goals and he would likely replace Semi Ajayi, partnering Kyle Barley in the middle, with Conor Townsend and Darnell Furlong either side, in front of Sam Johnstone.

In midfield, Big Sam is able to welcome back Gunners loanee Ainsley Maitland-Niles and he should come straight back in, whilst the Albion chief may want to take a look at either Romaine Sawyers or Jake Livermore.

Given the former was not even named in the squad last time out, we're giving the nod to the club captain. Both of the two will play slightly ahead of Celta Vigo loan star Okay Yokuslu.

Matheus Pereira will surely remain in the starting XI despite speculation over his future, though there could be a return for £18m forgotten man Grady Diangana on the other flank.

He's played only six times since Allardyce was appointed and after signing a long-term five-year contract, he will certainly be part of their future next season.

Diangana will take the place of Callum Robinson as the 26-year-old has failed to contirbute a goal or assist in the four matches since his three goals in two games.

There will be some temptation to throw a lifeline to Karlan Grant, too, but Big Sam hinted there wouldn't be too many changes, so Mbaye Diagne keeps his place up top.

AND in other news, Big Sam must unleash "explosive" Baggies beast today, he could give Klopp nightmares...
