West Ham United could be plotting a move for a highly-rated European talent….

What’s the latest?

According to Belgian publication Voetbal Belgie, the Irons are one of many clubs still interested in Club Brugge sensation Noa Lang.

The Netherlands international had earned notoriety last season for his performances and therefore was met with plenty of suitors over the summer. However, after his failed move to AC Milan, he might now have to settle for one of the Premier League clubs named in the report.

Of those interested, Leeds United, Everton and Aston Villa seem to most likely destinations for Lang, who too draws interest from Atalanta.

Moyes could now ditch Lanzini

After what has been a tumultuous start to their season, David Moyes will be keen to refresh his squad after the World Cup break and the January transfer window.

Despite boasting an abundance of attacking talent, it seems that they are misfiring in the league, which has led to their current 15th-placed position.

Those who have suffered the most this season from this competition for places is Manuel Lanzini, who seems to have wilted with the increased traffic around his position.

This season he has just two goals in 14 games in all competitions and has an average SofaScore rating of just 6.42 in the league.

It seems that Gabby Agbonlahor’s claim that the Argentine is one of many “overrated” offensive outlets at the London Stadium has become true.

In that report, the former Villa forward also claimed that “they need more pace on the wings."

In Lang, they could almost instantly fix this issue and provide further firepower to rival the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrahma.

Not only does he boast frightening speed, but his quick feet have even seen him likened to Brazilian star Neymar by his agent Bart Baving.

His statistics from last season endorse this, with nine goals and 15 assists across all competitions including the Champions League for his Belgian side.

It was these consistently outstanding displays that saw the 23-year-old labelled “unstoppable” by the Football Talent Scout Jacek Kulig.

It would mark a fine transfer manoeuvre from Moyes, to ditch Lanzini and replace him with Lang in one fell swoop, fixing the problem highlighted by Agbonlahor and adding even more goals from the wide areas.
