More summer signings for West Ham United cannot be ruled out, according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth.

What's the word?

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Sheth said: "You can never rule it out because West Ham have surprised everyone, not least their fans, about how they’ve approached this transfer window and how quickly they’re going about doing their business.

"Three signings are already in and there is potential for three or four more. We will still have the best part of five or six weeks left in the transfer window once all of that gets sorted. There is still time for West Ham United to do more business."

The news comes as the Hammers have agreed an initial £30.5m deal for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, as well as bidding for Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic, and it appears they're not done yet.

Supporters will love Sheth's update

West Ham United supporters will love to hear the update from Sheth and will be excited to see who the club plan on bringing in next.

The Hammers finished in an impressive 7th place in the Premier League last season, and as a result, qualified for the Europa Conference League. The fact that European football is on offer at the London Stadium next season will attract a lot of players to the club.

Their transfer window has been a big success so far - with Nayef Aguerd, Flynn Downes, and Alphonse Areola having already joined the club - and manager David Moyes will be happy with the additions he's made, but if they want to keep up with those who finished above them they need to make sure they have as deep a squad as possible next term.

Bringing in more players who are experienced in the Premier League could be where Moyes looks to strengthen.

The Hammers recently missed out on acquiring talented midfielder Jesse Lingard on a free transfer after the player opted to move to newly promoted Nottingham Forest.

Supporters will be gutted by that decision due to how impressive he was during his loan stint in east London in 2020/21, however, they've got a lot to be optimistic about and the potential of more signings will only add to that.
