Wolves should be anticipating interest in several of their players this summer after another successful year, with Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez having already been linked with moves away.

Real Madrid are reported to have made the latter a transfer target ahead of the summer and that should be a concern for fans and Nuno Espirito Santo, who may fear his head could be turned.

Worse still, Los Blancos have the financial power to twist Wolves' arm and force them into a sale, and that could make it difficult to hold onto the striker.

However, at 28 the Mexico international is now in the peak of his career, and fits so well into the current set-up at Wolves, as his return of 22 goals and ten assists this term would evidence.

The image above shows how much he is enjoying his time at Molineux, too, and he would do well to remember that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Take Luka Jovic for example, the former Frankfurt striker netted 27 goals in 48 games before moving to Real Madrid last summer, where he has scored just two goals and has been given the chance to start on just seven occasions.

His relationship with the fans is also another reason to stay. He is creating long-lasting memories at Wolves such as scoring at Wembley in an FA Cup semi-final, while if the football season returns he could go on to achieve European success this term.

For true Wolves fans only: How much did each of these players cost?

Moving to an unknown environment poses unexpected challenges, and the fans of the Spanish giants can be notoriously impatient - just take their treatment of Gareth Bale.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, he clearly has a great relationship with his manager Nuno, as the photo above gives an insight into.

Playing under a manager who not only understands how he plays but also gets the best out of him should not be underestimated in football, and given the trajectory the club is on Jimenez may well be better off staying put.

Meanwhile, Wolves are weighing up a move for a player who has impressed in the Premier League this season...
