Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Bruno Lage has confirmed that both Joao Moutinho and Pedro Neto could feature in their match against Midlands rivals Leicester City at Molineux on Sunday.

What's the latest?

According to Lage, the Portuguese has a fully fit squad for the first time since arriving in the West Midlands last summer.

Speaking to the media ahead of the Foxes' visit, the 45-year-old said: “Everyone is involved in training. Every player is fit and ready to join the team. It’s good news. It means no bad news.

“For now we have every player available. We have Joao, Pedro, Hwang, so everyone was involved in training. We have been waiting for this since the first day and it comes in the middle of February.”

Moutinho has missed the last two matches with a calf injury but has since returned to training. However, it'll be the availability of the 35-year-old's fellow countryman Pedro Neto that'll have everyone involved with Wolves excited.

Fans will be elated

Neto hasn't featured yet this season having suffered a serious knee injury away at Fulham last April and his return could be coming at the perfect time for the Molineux club.

Wolves are currently seventh, with sixth-placed Arsenal just two points ahead of them, although the Gunners do have a game in hand.

With Leicester their opponent on Sunday, Lage's side will then face Arsenal and West Ham to round off February, all of which being crucial in their quest for European qualification.

The 21-year-old enjoyed a fruitful campaign last term before his injury, scoring five goals and assisting a further six in the top-flight, winning both Fan's Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season for the 2020/21 season.

It's likely that the Portuguese winger won't be thrown into the deep end just yet, having been absent for ten months and will therefore start from the bench. However, it'll be a major boost for Wolves as they look to secure European football for next season.
