Adama Traore is unsurprisingly a man-in-demand this summer, and it seems as if a permanent exit from Wolves could finally be on the cards.

What's the word?

After spending the second half of last season on loan with Barcelona, Traore has been widely tipped to leave Molineux ahead of next season, with the likes of Leeds United, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur linked with signing him.

Journalist Josh Holland has shared his thoughts on the winger's situation at Wolves in an interview with GIVEMESPORT, saying:

“I don’t think he actually wants to stay at Wolves. I think his comments and his actions last season before he went to Barcelona kind of said that, obviously refused to sign a new contract. He’s been linked away for a few years now.“

Supporters will be gutted

While Traore was unquestionably inconsistent at the best of times, he was still an extremely exciting player to watch at Wolves and would always get supporters on their feet.

His performances in the 2019/20 Premier League season were fantastic, as he contributed four goals and nine assists in 37 appearances, averaging a superb 7.49 rating from WhoScored for his performances.

While his form dropped in subsequent campaigns, he was still a very dangerous player and there is no doubt that the Old Gold looked poorer without him in the second half of last season.

Even last season, when he managed just one goal and no assists in 20 appearances, he averaged a strong 6.94 rating, which ranked him as the second-best performer across the season for Wolves (of those to make at least five appearances).

Therefore, he clearly adds a lot to Lage's side with his pace and power, and he will undoubtedly be missed should he leave this summer, so supporters won't be too happy to hear that he wants to move away from Molineux.
